FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR THE CRAFT BEER GIFT CARD

DO YOU SELL A PHYSICAL GIFT CARD?

Our gift card is digital only, and is delivered in the form of a code by email. 

HOW DO I PURCHASE?

Go to the Buy tab at the top of the screen on desktop or drop down menu on mobile. Select the amount you want to give your recipient by clicking the boxes, or by entering your choice of value. The minimum amount is £10 and the maximum is £500.

Fill in the ‘Recipient Details’, and choose what day you want your e-gift card to be sent, or leave blank for us to send the same day once approval has taken place of your order.  You can fill in your details if you would like the gift card to be emailed to you.

We will send the e-gift card code to the email address specified on your order with your chosen message.

Check your order and checkout, or add another gift card to your order.  Checkout in the normal way using PayPal or by entering your debit or credit card details to pay, using the correct address it is registered to.

HOW DO I PAY?

We use Stripe and PayPal to take payment, which means we do not see your payment details at all, they are safely stored with the UK’s biggest platforms instead and means we accept all major credit and debit cards.  

By selecting PayPal as your payment option at checkout, it will also give you the option to use Apple Pay. 

Your bank statement or PayPal statement will say the order is from 'The Indie Gift Card Co. Ltd' with a reference of 'CRAFT EGIFT' - this is our business name and The Craft Beer Gift Card is a trading style of this company. 

WHEN WILL I GET MY CRAFT BEER GIFT CARD ORDER?

You or your recipient will get your e-gift card by email as soon as successful payment is made, or on your chosen 'future send' date by 9am.

Please note, that if sending the same day, the e-gift card code may not be live to spend until 24 working hours after receipt.  This is due to extra security checks by our team during working hours.  

Our working hours are 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday.

HOW DO I REDEEM THE CRAFT BEER GIFT CARD?

Please be aware that you cannot take your Craft Beer Gift Card into any brewery.  

The e-gift card code you receive is spent back on our website and exchanged for one of our partner brewery e-gift cards.

All our brewery partners deliver their beer and other goods UK wide.

To redeem The Craft Beer Gift Card, visit this website and register your e-code by clicking Redeem.  The website will ask you to either ‘join' or 'sign in’ to our service to claim your e-gift card code.

Once you are logged into your account, you will be able to choose e-gift cards from our partner brewery brands in exchange for the balance on your Craft Beer Gift Card.  You can add your own funds if you need or want to ‘top up’ your order. 

Add your chosen brewery's e-gift card/s to you shopping basket and checkout as normal.

WHEN WILL I GET MY BREWERY GIFT CARD ORDER?

You will receive your chosen brewery's e-gift card/s via email within 24 working hours Mon - Fri (excluding weekends and UK bank holidays), or after this time period by 9AM on any future send date you select. 

When you receive your chosen brewery's e-gift card codes they are live, so imagine they are the same as cash, you can spend on the partner brand’s website and/or in their taproom / brewery (this is only if the trading terms of their gift card allow for it - this is advised in each listing).  

CAN I TOP UP MY BALANCE?

Yes, if you have more than one Craft Beer Gift Card e-code, you are able to register these once you are logged into your account and your balances will be combined together. 

To add another Craft Beer Gift Card code, go to 'My Account', click 'My Cards' and then 'Add Card'. 

You do not have to spend your Craft Beer Gift Card balance all at once.  

You can also use your own funds (via debit / credit card or PayPal) as part or whole payment for additional brewery e-gift card orders. 

CAN I USE MY CRAFT BEER GIFT CARD BALANCE TO BUY A CRAFT BEER GIFT CARD?

Yes. You can purchase a Craft Beer Gift Card e-code as a gift for someone else using your account, this order can be placed using your own funds and/or with your Craft Beer Gift Card balance.

HOW LONG IS THE CRAFT BEER GIFT CARD VALID FOR?

Your balance is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, each time you receive a new Craft Beer Gift Card e-code and add it to your account, its validity will increase for another 12 months.

After 12 months of no spend, any balance left on the account disappears and we use these funds towards improvements of our gift card service.

HOW LONG ARE BREWERY PARTNERS' E-GIFT CARDS VALID FOR?

Each brewery partner will have different validity periods for their e-gift cards, please check their individual websites for terms and conditions. 

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO REDEEM A BREWERY E-GIFT CARD?

18 years of age or older. 

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

The Craft Beer Gift Card cannot be exchanged or refunded once it has been purchased, unless there is an issue with its redemption. Re-issuing faulty e-gift cards is limited to issues proven to be a result of the production or issuing process. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

If you have purchased your brewery e-gift card codes, and they have been ordered/delivered, then these are non-refundable.  

If an e-gift card code in your possession, or your recipient’s possession, was purchased from us and is unable to be used due to a brewery going into administration (or any other issue), you belong to that brewery for any queries pertaining to that e-code.

We highly recommend spending your brewery e-gift card as soon as you have received it.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T RECEIVE MY GIFT CARD?

If you did not get your Craft Beer Gift Card e-code, or your recipient has not received it, we are able to see in our platform whether your email has been delivered, and whether it’s been opened.  We can also resend your email if you have not had it or it went into spam.  We can also resend to a new email address if it bounces.

Simply contact the team here at The Craft Beer Gift Card and we will do our utmost to assist.

If we send a brewery partner e-gift card code to you or your recipient, the same applies.

If you have not received your e-gift card code/s, and we resend it/them, and you then find it has been spent, we are not responsible for this.  You would need to report it as theft from your emails to your local police station as it would appear the original e-code has been spent by someone who has access to your emails.  

All e-gift card codes are purchased only for you, and are only sent to the email address you provide.

If you find that you have sent an email to the wrong address, we will try and block the e-gift card code for you, but cannot guarantee this service for all brand partners.

The Craft Beer Gift Card would like to keep you informed of any new partners added to the platform, or any offers our partners may want to advise you of.  We hate spamming! So we will not be sending you daily updates etc. but hope you are happy for us to keep in touch gently.  

At any time you can ask to be removed from emails and from our lists.
