Welcome to The Craft Beer Gift Card (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing, redeeming, using, or accessing our products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale and Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

The Craft Beer Gift Card is a trading name of The Indie Gift Card Co. Ltd.

1. About The Craft Beer Gift Card

1.1 Service Description

The Craft Beer Gift Card is a digital gift card exchange service that allows customers to purchase a Craft Beer Gift Card and redeem it for participating UK brewery e-gift cards listed on our website.

1.2 Delivery Times

Craft Beer Gift Cards are delivered by email either:

  • immediately following successful payment; or
  • on a selected future delivery date by 9:00am (UK time).

Where same-day delivery is selected, gift card codes may take up to 24 working hours to become active for redemption due to fraud prevention and security checks.

Our standard working hours are:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am – 4:00pm (UK time)
  • excluding UK public and bank holidays.

1.3 Eligibility

You must be aged 18 years or over to use this service or access participating brewery partner websites.

2. Availability and Pricing

2.1 Product Availability

All products, brewery partners, and services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to:

  • refuse or cancel orders;
  • limit quantities;
  • remove brewery partners;
  • amend available products or services;
  • discontinue services without notice.

2.2 Pricing

Prices displayed at the time of purchase apply to your order.

The minimum Craft Beer Gift Card value is £5 and the maximum is £500.

2.3 Validity and Expiry

Standard Craft Beer Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase or issue, whether activated or not.

Balances are redeemed from the oldest active gift card first.

Expired balances are automatically removed from your account and cannot be reinstated. Any expired balance may be used by us towards administration and service improvements.

Beer Bank subscription balances are subject to separate expiry terms outlined in Section 16 below.

3. Redeeming Brewery E-Gift Cards

3.1 Redemption Process

Recipients may redeem their Craft Beer Gift Card through our website by selecting:

  • a participating brewery partner; and
  • an available e-gift card denomination.

3.2 Processing Times

Brewery partner e-gift cards are typically processed and delivered within 24–48 working hours, excluding weekends and UK bank holidays.

3.3 Brewery Partner Terms

All brewery e-gift cards are issued subject to the individual brewery’s own:

  • terms and conditions;
  • expiry dates;
  • usage restrictions;
  • delivery policies.

You are responsible for reviewing and complying with those terms.

3.4 Brewery Availability

Participating breweries may change at any time without notice.

If a selected brewery partner becomes unavailable or we are unable to fulfil an order for any reason, we will contact you and offer an alternative participating brewery option.

4. Third-Party Brewery Liability

4.1 Independent Businesses

Participating breweries are independent third parties and are solely responsible for:

  • their products;

  • services;

  • websites;

  • gift card programmes;

  • order fulfilment.

4.2 Limitation of Responsibility

We are not responsible for:

  • brewery insolvency;

  • administration or closure;

  • refusal of service;

  • stock availability;

  • brewery website issues;

  • brewery gift card failures;

  • disputes between you and a brewery partner.

Once a brewery e-gift card has been issued, responsibility for redemption rests with the issuing brewery.

We strongly recommend redeeming brewery e-gift cards promptly after receipt.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Visa;

  • Mastercard;

  • PayPal.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed via Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment provider.

We do not store your payment card details.

Your bank or PayPal statement may show:

5.3 Failed Payments

We are not responsible for:

  • declined transactions;

  • expired payment cards;

  • payment processing delays;

  • bank or PayPal fees.

5.4 Using Gift Card Balances

You may use your Craft Beer Gift Card balance to purchase:

  • additional Craft Beer Gift Cards; or

  • brewery partner e-gift cards.

6. Cancellation, Refunds and Consumer Rights

6.1 Digital Products

The Craft Beer Gift Card and brewery partner e-gift cards are digital products.

Once purchased, activated, issued, redeemed, exchanged, scheduled for delivery, or delivered, they are generally non-refundable and non-cancellable unless required by applicable law.

6.2 Faulty or Incorrect Orders

If you believe a gift card has been issued incorrectly or is faulty, you must contact us promptly with:

  • your order number; and

  • reasonable evidence of the issue.

6.3 Loss of Cancellation Rights

By placing an order for a brewery e-gift card, you expressly consent to immediate digital fulfilment and acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel under applicable consumer regulations may be lost once fulfilment begins.

6.4 Used Balances

Refunds will not be issued where any portion of a gift card balance has already been redeemed or spent, except where required by law.

6.5 Brewery Products

We are not responsible for:

  • refunds;

  • returns;

  • exchanges;

  • defective goods;

  • shipping issues;

  • customer service issues

relating to products purchased from breweries using brewery e-gift cards.

Your legal contract for those purchases is with the brewery itself.

7. Lost, Stolen or Misused Gift Cards

Gift cards should be treated like cash.

We are not responsible for:

  • lost gift cards;

  • stolen gift cards;

  • unauthorised use;

  • incorrect email delivery addresses supplied by customers.

Lost or stolen gift cards may not be replaced or refunded.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your devices and email accounts.

8. Accuracy and Errors

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that all information on our website is accurate.

However, we reserve the right to:

  • correct pricing errors;

  • amend product descriptions;

  • cancel incorrect orders;

  • refuse transactions affected by errors.

Where appropriate, we may issue a refund or alternative resolution at our discretion.

9. Restricted Territories and Compliance

Purchases and use of our services are prohibited where doing so would breach:

  • UK sanctions laws;

  • export controls;

  • anti-money laundering regulations; or

  • other applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to refuse service where required for legal or compliance reasons.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in this website and its content, including logos, branding, graphics, text, and software, are owned by or licensed to The Indie Gift Card Co. Ltd.

You may:

  • view pages for personal use;

  • print pages for personal use only.

You may not:

  • reproduce;

  • republish;

  • copy;

  • sell;

  • exploit;

  • distribute

any website content without prior written permission.

11. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • misuse this website;

  • attempt unauthorised access;

  • distribute malware or malicious code;

  • scrape or systematically extract data;

  • use automated systems without written permission;

  • use this website for unlawful purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is unlawful, including liability for:

  • fraud;

  • fraudulent misrepresentation;

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to this, we shall not be liable for:

  • indirect losses;

  • loss of profits;

  • business interruption;

  • data loss;

  • consequential damages;

  • third-party failures;

  • brewery partner issues.

Our maximum aggregate liability relating to any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be published on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

Beer Bank Terms

These additional terms apply to The Craft Beer Gift Card Beer Bank programme, including:

• monthly subscription services;

• bonus credit promotions; and

• referral rewards and referral activities.

By using Beer Bank, subscribing to Beer Bank, participating in referral activity, or receiving Beer Bank promotional credits, you agree to:

• these Beer Bank Terms; and

• the main Terms of Sale and Service above.

16. Beer Bank Service

16.1 Overview

Beer Bank is a savings, rewards and referral programme operated by The Craft Beer Gift Card which may allow eligible customers to:

• build Craft Beer Gift Card balances monthly;

• receive bonus credit promotions;

• receive referral rewards; and

• participate in promotional reward campaigns from time to time.

16.2 Monthly Payments

Customers may subscribe between £20 and £500 per month.

Payments must be made via:

  • Visa;

  • Mastercard.

Craft Beer Gift Card balances cannot be used to pay subscription fees.

16.3 Bonus Credit

Eligible subscribers receive:

  • 10% extra credit during their first subscription month (new customers only); and

  • 5% extra credit on subsequent monthly payments.

We reserve the right to amend or remove promotional bonuses at any time. 

Bonus credits and promotional incentives apply only to qualifying cash/card subscription payments successfully processed through the Beer Bank subscription service and cannot be generated through redemption, recycling or reuse of existing gift card balances, referral credits or promotional balances.

17. Referral Programme

17.1 Referral Eligibility

Referral rewards are only payable where:

  • the referral link is correctly used during checkout; and

  • the referred purchase is successfully completed.

Referral links expire after one hour if checkout is not completed.

17.2 Referral Rewards

Eligible referral rewards include:

  • 5% of qualifying Craft Beer Gift Card purchases; or

  • 5% of a new subscriber’s first subscription payment.

Self-referrals for subscriptions are prohibited.

17.3 Referral Payment Timing

Referral rewards are added:

  • 14 days after qualifying gift card purchases; or

  • after a referred subscriber successfully completes their second subscription payment.

17.4 Exclusions

Referral rewards, bonus credits and promotional incentives are not payable on:

• purchases made fully or partly using existing Craft Beer Gift Card balances;

• orders funded using a combination of gift card balance and cash/card payment;

• brewery gift card exchanges;

• subscription self-referrals;

• refunded, cancelled or disputed transactions;

• fraudulent, abusive or suspicious activity;

• transactions made in breach of these Terms.

For the avoidance of doubt, where any portion of an order is paid using an existing Craft Beer Gift Card balance or promotional credit, the entire transaction shall be excluded from eligibility for referral rewards, bonus credits or promotional incentives unless expressly stated otherwise by us in writing.

18. Beer Bank Expiry Terms

18.1 Subscription Balance Expiry

Whole Beer Bank subscription balances (including monthly bonuses) remain valid for 12 months from your most recent subscription deposit.

18.2 Referral Credit Expiry

Referral bonus balances expire 12 months after issue.

18.3 Inactive Accounts

If your subscription is cancelled and your account remains inactive for 12 consecutive months:

  • any remaining balance may expire; and

  • expired balances may be used towards administration and service improvements.

19. Beer Bank Changes and Cancellation

You may:

  • increase;

  • decrease; or

  • cancel

your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Changes take effect from the next billing cycle unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Beer Bank at any time.
