Unused balances expire after 12 months of inactivity.

Each brewery partner sets their own expiry period.

Do I need to be 18 or over?
Yes. You must be 18+ to redeem brewery gift cards.
What is your refund policy?
Craft Beer Gift Cards are non-refundable once purchased unless there is an issue preventing redemption or where required by law.
Brewery gift cards are ordered from our brewery partners on your behalf. Once a brewery gift card has been ordered, no refund can be provided, even if the brewery gift card has not yet been used.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil a brewery gift card order due to a technical issue, brewery partner issue, or other circumstance outside our reasonable control, we may cancel the order, return the balance to your Craft Beer Gift Card account, and ask you to place the order again.
If a Craft Beer Gift Card purchase, Beer Bank deposit, subscription payment, or brewery gift card order is refunded, reversed, cancelled, or becomes subject to a payment dispute, any associated bonus beer credit, referral rewards, or promotional credits may be removed from the account.
If a brewery enters administration or is unable to honour a gift card after it has been issued, queries relating to that gift card must be directed to the brewery itself.
We recommend spending brewery gift cards shortly after receiving them.
Your statutory rights are unaffected.

How do I earn free beer credit?
There are 3 ways:
1. Subscribe
2. Buy gift cards
Use your personal referral link when buying The Craft Beer Gift Card for yourself, friends or family and receive 5% credit back.
3. Refer others
Share your link and earn 5% when others:
When are referral rewards paid?
Gift card purchases
Paid 14 days after purchase.
Subscription referrals
Paid after the referred subscriber completes their second month.
Important to know
Referral rewards apply to qualifying purchases made through your referral link using card or PayPal payment.
Rewards aren’t paid on:
- Brewery gift card purchases
- Purchases made using existing Beer Bank or gift card balances
- Referring yourself to subscribe
- Refunded or cancelled transactions
Using your own referral link with existing balance
If you already have Craft Beer Gift Card balance on your account, our checkout currently applies that balance automatically before card payment.
Because of this, purchases made fully or partly using existing balance do not qualify for referral rewards.
If you’d still like to earn referral credit on a purchase, you can:
- Copy your referral link
- Log out of your account
- Open your referral link
- Complete the purchase as a guest using card or PayPal payment
The referral reward will then be added to your account as normal.
For ease, we recommend subscribing, this way you can earn, buy and gift without the need to use your referral link each time.
How does the subscription work?
Choose a monthly amount between £20 and £500.

Does my Beer Bank balance expire?
Yes.
Your Beer Bank subscription balance (including bonus credit) is valid for 12 months from your most recent subscription deposit.
If you cancel your subscription and do not use your balance within 12 months, any remaining balance will expire.
Non-subscription balances — including purchased Craft Beer Gift Cards and referral rewards earned — are each individually valid for 12 months from the date they were purchased or earned.
Unused balances expire after 12 months of inactivity.
Anything else I should know?
Your referral link must be used during checkout within one hour of clicking.
If more than one hour passes without purchase, the link will need to be clicked again.
