About

Hook Norton Brewery

Hook Norton Brewery is a historic, family-owned Victorian Tower brewery in Oxfordshire, England. Established in 1849, it remains one of the last working tower breweries in the UK, where much of the original machinery is still used to brew their delicious ales.

The brewery tours take visitors up, down, and around the five-storey Victorian Tower Brewery over the course of two hours, where guests can experience the sights, sounds, and smells of traditional brewing at Hook Norton Brewery. Every tour ends with a tutored tasting in their cellar bar, and there’s also an opportunity to meet their beautiful Shire horses, who still deliver their award-winning ales by horse-drawn dray to local pubs.

The Visitor Centre houses a gift shop stocked with a wide range of merchandise, wines, clothing, and of course, beer. There’s also an on-site café serving home-cooked breakfasts and lunches made from locally sourced produce.
